hello internet

I've never written a blog before, and I've been agonizing about what to write in my first post.  Should it be some sort of introduction to me, or something about my relationship, or should I just hit the ground running with wedding related thoughts.  Finally, tonight, after weeks of thinking and rethinking, and starting and deleting and restarting, I've decided to just say this:

"Hello, internet.  I'm here.  I'll try not to be too boring."
